Kindness – is the attitude we have.
Goodness – is what we do (Action) in response to our attitude.
As we exercise (walk) in the fruit of the Spirit…we get stronger…it’s easier to do.
- Sharris does an exercise program…it was hard at first, but easier now.
- How many of you are nicer now then years ago.
- How many enjoy blessing others now more than ever.
- Gal 5:23…there is no law (The Devil can’t condemn you) or others.

- We are eternal, incorruptible spirits…what we are on the inside will come out side.
Ephesians 4:24 (AMP)
- That new nature…is the fruit of the Spirit…Put it on the outside…it’s in God’s image [God like]
- You look just like Him inside…now let’s look like Him outside.
How?
Putting on is planning!!
When you get up in the morning:
- Do you plan on being a blessing
- If someone drops the ball at work…do you expose them or cover for them. Say nothing more about it. (This is rare) The more you get your eyes off you, the freer you become…don’t promote self…humble yourself under God’s hand, He promotes.
- If you don’t get along with someone at work…plan something kind to do for them.
- I was never without a printing job.
- You want your environment to change…change it…be kind in every circumstance.

- Social strategy deployed through the wisdom of God.
2. Plan on forgiving others…quick to forgive

3. Plan to give to people
- Have cash in your pocket
4. Plan on complimenting people
- Appreciate what people do.
- Labored people feel unappreciated…compliment them on their work.
The more you get your eyes off you, the freer you become…
It’s fun to make people feel better…being kind to others is unusual in today’s world.
Have you known people that make you want to run when you see them? (They’re combative)
You have to practice “Kindness and Goodness” on purpose…whether you feel like it or not…
It builds character.
1 Thessalonians 5:14-18 (MSG) 14 Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on. Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. 15 And be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out. 16 Be cheerful no matter what; 17 pray all the time; 18 thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
- The many ways we are Kind and Good to each other.
- Each of these are done on purpose.
- The fruit, put on, is a quality decision we made every morning when we rise.

- There are those who discredit the Gifts of the Spirit…
- When you endeavor to develop the fruit of the Spirit in your life. You want to practice it on others. This causes us to reach out and touch their lives in the Holy Spirit. The Gifts of the Spirit are for others…God through you to others. Now the Gifts are changing lives because the right motivation is behind them.
- “God I want to do more”…HS “step over here, I have Gifts for you.”
It’s important to start your day with God…make plans with Him.
- Pray…”Help me Holy Spirit to walk in the fruit of the spirit…
Colossians 3:12-14 (NKJV)
- Moses knew he was called to deliver Israel.
- In his worldly schooling he thought he knew how to do it.
- 40yrs herding sheep taught him otherwise.
- EX: Herding 3 goats humbled me.
- Moses found he needed God.
- He then became “the meekest man on the earth”
- Killed Egyptian…40yrs later…”God forgive them” when he was attacked.
- Joseph…stayed kind and doing good through all injustices to him.
- Acts 10:38 (NKJV) 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
