For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. – Romans 8:6
How we think is important. Our thoughts produce our words. They become our actions and ultimately shape our destiny.
The Bible says we can think carnally – meaning to use sense and reason without the Holy Spirit. But that way of thinking leads to death which is all of the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter.
Or we can think spiritually, which leads to life and peace, both now and forever.
