Ephesians 6:11-12 (KJV)
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- What you can see is NOT what is driving things around us…invisible Kingdoms.
- It’s highly ordered and governed.
Two Kingdoms?
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (NKJV)
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (Live full kingdom lives)
20 that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”
- Two kingdoms:
- Heaven – Life – Blessing
- Earth – Death – Cursing
- Choose life – choose the kingdom of heaven
EX: History Teacher in High School…gave the answer to the test.
- In case you don’t know which kingdom I’m king of…choose life kingdom.
- You choose the kingdom…Satan can’t choose for you…not God either.
Kingdom Words
Proverbs 18:20-21 (AMP)
20 A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil].
21 Death and life are in the power of the (Devil? God?) tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
- Choose you this day what words will you speak…life or death, blessing or cursing…choose life words
Matthew 12:33-37 (KJV)
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. (How?)
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
- Good Tree (Good Man) = Good Fruit (Good Things)…Your speaking the Kingdom of God.
- Corrupt Tree (Evil Man) = Corrupt Fruit (Evil Things)…Your speaking other than the Kingdom of God.
- To speak anything other than agreeing with God and His Kingdom is Corrupt.
Where does these words come from?
The treasure (Deposit) of the heart.
- Our hearts are repository’s of words
- What we deposit in our hearts…will come out under pressure. Good or Bad
- We deposit K.O.G words…we speak Good Words and represent the Kingdom of God.
- We deposit K.O.D words…we speak Evil Words and represent the Kingdom of darkness.
- Vs 34…out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Good or Bad
- Where we are at today is the because of the words we spoke yesterday.
Each Kingdom is vying for your words…Duet 30:19 Choose you this day…life or death, blessing or cursing.
We have authority to speak representative words for either kingdom.
Every Idle Word = useless, unproductive
- Words that don’t align and agree with heaven
- Words that disconnect us from the Kingdom of God’s power.
- Words that do not bring “His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”.
By OUR words we are justified or condemned
- Justified = Acquitted, set free
- Condemned = sentenced, put in bondage
- Our words can “set us free” or “put us in bondage”…what kingdom do you want influencing your life?
John 6:63 (NKJV)
63 It is the Spirit (Holy Spirit) who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
- Words are not just “Sound waves” they are spiritually powerful.
- Words inspired by the Holy Spirit through us brings life.
- Idle, fleshly words will not profit you…they will kill you.
~ My feet are killing me
~ Every time we plan a vacation the kids get sick
~ The flu is going around, we’ll probably get it.
~ This car has “X” miles on it, it will start breaking down.
~ Every time we get a bonus check, something breaks.
Let’s speak by the Holy Spirit (K.O.G) and not the flesh (K.O.D)
Proverbs 30:32 (NKJV)
32 If you have been foolish in exalting yourself, Or if you have devised evil (Evil thoughts), put your hand on your mouth.
- Don’t just blurt out whatever comes to your mind…learn the art of silence.
Psalm 141:3 (NKJV)
3 Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips.
- Your lips are a door into this physical plane of existence.
- Please help me control my lips.
- I want them only to serve You and Your kingdom purpose.
John 12:49-50 (NKJV)
49 For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
50 And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
- Jesus only spoke Kingdom Words…what his Father said…Jesus represented the K.O.G perfectly.
Psalm 39:1 (NKJV)
1 I said, “I will guard my ways, (HOW?) Lest I sin with my tongue; I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle, While the wicked are before me.”
- The devil (Wicked) are after your tongue.
- If you have to stick a sock in your mouth…Do It!
