God’s Love to Us – Part 5

Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. (John 13:23)

Sun Mountains

“He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” – Matthew 5:45

Key Scripture:

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. — Romans 5:5-11

  • That’s how much the father loves you.
  • He paid too much, over the top for your sins. Giving his own Son for you.
  • So that there would be NO question “My Father loves me”
  • This is the “Almost too good to be true Gospel”
  • Every circumstance needs to be measured up against His love for you.
  • You’re the disciple that Jesus loves!!!!
  • When you believe this truth, everyone around you benefits.

God’s Love

Jesus received affirmation from His Father. We need no less. The knowledge and revelation of God’s love for him that Jesus had was enough to cary him through his 3-1/2 years of ministry.

Immediately He was led into the wilderness to settle the big question!!!! –> “If you be the son of God???” OR “If you are His BELOVED son???”

THE DEVIL IS TESTING TO SEE IF JESUS REALLY BELIEVES HIS FATHER LOVES HIM!!!!

Even the devil knows, this is where the battle is waged in the hearts and minds of every believer. “Are you his beloved?”

Adam and Eve failed this test.
